Samsung's Galaxy Buds 4 Pro may debut a charging case with a physical Find Phone button, pinging your handset over Bluetooth. Here's what the leak reveals.
Galaxy Buds 4 Pro could pick up a small but genuinely handy upgrade that helps you quickly track down a misplaced phone. A new leak indicates that Samsung is testing a Find Phone feature built right into the earbuds’ charging case.
According to Android Authority, a firmware animation shows a dedicated physical button on the Buds 4 Pro case. Pressing it doesn’t trigger a search for the earbuds; instead, the case pings the smartphone over Bluetooth. A Samsung phone responds with a loud sound, making it easy to locate it around the home — whether it’s under a pillow, behind the couch, or in another room. The idea is obvious, yet it’s surprising manufacturers haven’t rolled it out sooner.
If the leak is accurate, the setup is deliberately simple: press the button and the phone sounds off right away. Earlier chatter suggested the feature had been carried over from the Buds 3 Pro, but that turned out to be inaccurate — for the Buds 4 Pro it’s entirely new.
The front of the case also shows a speaker grille — a hint that Samsung might be preparing additional ways to interact with the case itself, though that remains speculation. There’s no precise information yet about alert volume, integration with Samsung Find, or any other potential options.
While the Buds 4 Pro aren’t arriving anytime soon, one thing already feels clear: this tiny addition could become one of the most sought-after. Often it’s the small, well-placed conveniences that save the most time and nerves — especially when the phone once again “mysteriously disappears” at home.
