Discover HP's Z66 2025 Core Edition: a 14-inch Core Ultra 5-125H laptop with 2.5K 120 Hz display, 32GB DDR5, 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, broad I/O and 56 Wh battery.
HP has introduced the Z66 2025 Core Edition to the Chinese market, a 14-inch laptop built around the Intel Core Ultra 5-125H. The configuration includes 32 GB of memory and a fast 1 TB SSD, with a starting price of 4,799 yuan.
Weighing 1.44 kg and measuring 10.9 mm thick, the device is clearly tuned for everyday carry. The chassis is made from aluminum alloy with HP’s logo on the lid, while the IPS display delivers 2560×1600 resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of brightness. For video calls, there’s a 5 MP camera, and the keyboard is backlit and treated with a Durakey protective coating. The overall package reads thoughtfully balanced rather than flashy.
Performance is handled by a 14-core, 18-thread processor paired with modern DDR5 memory running at 5600 MHz. Storage uses PCIe 4.0 for the 1 TB drive and allows adding another via an M.2 slot. A 56 Wh battery underpins the system’s mobility, making it comfortable for both work and study.
Connectivity covers two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two versatile USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, an RJ45 jack, and a 3.5 mm audio connector. Altogether, the HP Z66 2025 Core Edition presents itself as a compact, capable laptop with broad I/O—an unfussy setup for users who value portability without giving up practical options.
