Samsung ships One UI 8 (Android 16) beta 7 to Galaxy S25, S25+, Ultra in Germany, South Korea, UK, and India, stability fixes and the Sept 1, 2025 patch.
Samsung is pressing ahead with testing its revamped One UI 8 on Android 16 for the Galaxy S25 lineup. Today the company rolled out the seventh beta, opening access to Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra owners in Germany, South Korea, the UK, and India. Hopes for a near-final release persist, yet this round again turns out to be a bridge update rather than the finish line.
The build, labeled ZYI3, zeroes in on fixes. It addresses a Bluetooth audio malfunction, several lock screen glitches (including sluggish clock behavior), a bug that blocked the chosen font from applying, and misaligned interface elements. Early feedback points to a noticeably steadier system, even if it still falls short of flawless.
Weighing in at about 600 MB, the package continues to ship with the September security patch dated September 1, 2025. That underscores a cautious pace: Samsung appears content to smooth out small snags step by step instead of rushing to the final cut. Even so, insider chatter previously hinted that One UI 8 could reach general release by the end of this month.
