See a Chinese gamer's extreme gaming setup that turns Arena Breakout shots, wind and rain into real sensations—an immersive rig blurring game and reality.

A Chinese gamer has built one of the most extreme gaming setups the internet has seen, turning virtual events into tangible, physical sensations. The rig brings shots, wind, and rain out of the game and into the room, blurring the line between screen and surroundings.

A short video shows how, during a session of the shooter Arena Breakout: Infinite, every gameplay element gets a real-world counterpart. When the character takes a hit, a side-mounted device fires small pyrotechnics to mimic impact. The player’s reactions look instinctive—at one point he ducks and even slips off his chair.

The weather effects are just as startling. Virtual rain arrives alongside real torrents pouring from the ceiling, closer to a downpour than a decorative sprinkle. A powerful blower completes the scene, blasting so hard the desk nearly tips over.

The creator doesn’t reveal which components were used or where this experimental rig is located. What is obvious is that it’s not set up in a typical living space—the system is too hazardous and too destructive for everyday use. It comes across less as a practical home build and more as an engineering performance piece that pushes immersion to its edge.

Online reaction leaned toward irony. Viewers joked that the realism was so intense the player barely made it to the end of the session. The setup is a vivid reminder of how far the pursuit of total immersion can go—and how unexpectedly inventive gaming creativity can be.
