Thunderobot Mix G2 brings Core Ultra 9 275HX and mobile RTX 5090 to a 3.2L chassis, rivaling ASUS ROG NUC. Global debut at CES 2026 with creator-grade AI power.

Thunderobot is preparing to roll out its most powerful gaming mini PC, the Mix G2, to the global market. Until now, the model has been limited to China, but the brand has officially hinted at an international launch—positioning the device as a direct rival to the ASUS ROG NUC 2025. Aimed at gamers and content creators who want maximum performance in a compact build, the Mix G2 fits into a 3.2-liter chassis yet claims power on par with full-size desktop towers. On paper, the pitch looks ambitious.

At its core, the Mix G2 runs on Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX with 24 cores and 24 threads, boosting up to 5.4 GHz. The chip supports a power envelope of up to 120 W and integrates an NPU rated for up to 36 TOPS to accelerate AI tasks.

Graphics are handled by a mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 with a TDP of up to 175 W. The GPU pairs 24 GB of GDDR7 with the Blackwell architecture, offers 10,496 CUDA cores, and has a stated AI throughput of 1,824 TOPS. Beyond the flagship setup, more accessible versions are expected, including configurations with an RTX 5080, giving buyers room to choose the balance they prefer.

Thunderobot plans the Mix G2’s international debut for CES 2026, which kicks off on January 6. The company will also introduce the Zero Air gaming laptop alongside the mini PC, underscoring a broader push into the global gaming hardware market.
