Leaks hint Samsung's 7.6-inch 4:3 foldable arriving in 2026, with a 5.4-inch cover display and 25W wireless charging, to rival Apple's rumored iPhone Fold.
Samsung is reportedly preparing a new foldable with an unusually wide screen for a 2026 debut. Leaks point to a 7.6-inch internal OLED panel with a 4:3 aspect ratio, a layout that tends to feel more tablet-like and less cramped. That sizing would put the device squarely up against the rumored iPhone Fold, said to feature a 7.58-inch display.
The outer screen is expected to measure 5.4 inches, and the device is said to support 25 W wireless charging. The design follows the book-style Fold approach, while images of a prototype surfaced online after an internal Samsung survey on preferred foldable form factors.
Industry watchers suggest wider displays could be the next step for foldables, giving users more room for apps and media. The company is believed to be targeting the first half of 2026 for an unveiling.
If the rumors hold, the device would emerge as a notable rival to Apple in the foldable arena and broaden the choices for people who want a larger inner screen in a compact folding body.
