Discover HiBy Zeta II: 9-driver hybrid wired earphones with titanium-alloy shells, Sonion acoustics, 20 Hz-40 kHz range and 109 dB sensitivity for audiophiles.
HiBy has unveiled the second generation of its wired Zeta earphones, leaning on a complex hybrid acoustic architecture and premium materials. The model is already on sale on Taobao: the recommended price is 11,998 yuan, with an introductory offer of 10,558 yuan. The pricing and positioning place it firmly in the top tier of personal audio.
Zeta II feature titanium-alloy shells crafted with precision CNC machining reminiscent of watchmaking. The included 1.25-meter cable combines pure silver with silver-plated single-crystal copper, and it supports cable swapping via 0.78 mm dual-pin connectors.
The headline feature is an acoustic layout of “electrostatic + planar + balanced armature + dynamic,” bringing nine drivers together: four electrostatic units, one micro-planar high-frequency driver, one high-efficiency high-frequency balanced armature, two composite balanced armatures, and an 8 mm dynamic driver with a DLC diaphragm dedicated to bass. It’s an ambitious mix designed to cover the spectrum with confidence.
The earphones use a third-generation acoustic design developed in collaboration with the Danish company Sonion. Stated specifications include 15-ohm impedance, 109 dB sensitivity, a frequency range from 20 Hz to 40 kHz, and total harmonic distortion capped at 1%. HiBy positions Zeta II for audiophiles who value high detail, an expansive soundstage, and precise reproduction across the frequency band in a single, all-round solution. On paper, the brief points to resolution without losing a sense of scale.
