Xiaomi is ramping up for the release of its new HyperOS 3, built on Android 16, and the list of devices in line for it is striking. According to insiders, the company is already trialing the firmware on more than 80 smartphone and tablet models.

HyperOS 3 was officially unveiled in August 2025, and a beta program for a limited set of devices followed shortly after. It has since emerged, however, that internal tests cover far more models than those available to ordinary users in the open beta — a clear sign that the public program is only a small slice of what’s happening behind the scenes.

The update is being tested across Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO lineups, spanning recent flagships, foldable phones, and the brand’s tablets. Specifically, the roster includes Xiaomi’s foldables, the Civi 4 and Civi 5 series, and flagships starting from the Xiaomi 13. On the Redmi side, testing is underway on the Turbo 3, Note 13 and Note 14 families, the K60, K70 and K80, the A3 and A4, as well as the Redmi 13, Redmi 14, Redmi 15, the Turbo 4 and the Note 15. Finally, POCO devices involved with Android 16 trials include the C75, F6, F7, M6, M7, X6 and X7.

HyperOS 3 promises a refreshed interface design, improved performance optimizations, broader security features, and tighter ties with Xiaomi’s device ecosystem. With such broad coverage, Android 16 is shaping up to be one of the company’s most substantial updates in recent years — and it points to a push for a cohesive experience across price tiers and form factors.
