Motorola Signature debuts at CES 2026: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 6.8-inch 165Hz AMOLED, 50MP triple camera, 5,200 mAh battery, 90W charging and 7 years of updates.

Motorola has unveiled a new flagship called Signature, the opening chapter of an ultra-premium line that shares its name. Debuting at CES 2026, the device signals a deliberate shift in strategy: instead of stretching the Edge lineup further, Motorola is carving out a distinct high-end segment.

The phone features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 6,200 nits, plus Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and calibrated to Pantone standards, with an in-display fingerprint reader beneath. At its core is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs Android 16, supports Moto AI features, and is slated for seven years of system updates—a pledge that underscores its long-haul ambitions.

The camera setup uses three 50 MP sensors: a main unit with optical image stabilization, an ultrawide, and a periscope telephoto offering 3x optical zoom. On the front sits a 50 MP camera with autofocus. The uniform resolution across the rear trio hints at a focus on consistent image quality over flashy spec outliers.

Power comes from a 5,200 mAh battery with a silicon‑carbon anode, yet the device remains slim at 6.99 mm and light at 186 g. Charging includes 90 W wired and 50 W wireless, plus reverse charging. The body is rated IP68/IP69 and meets MIL-STD-810H, positioning Signature as both upscale and ready for tougher conditions.
