Audio Pro unveils Drumfire II W and D-2 W speakers

Audio Pro has unveiled the next generation of its iconic Drumfire speaker systems, introducing the full-size Drumfire II W and the more compact Drumfire D-2 W. These new models complete the W-generation lineup, replacing previous versions with a focus on more powerful sound, updated software, and a refined retro design that stays true to the brand's rock-and-roll aesthetic.

The Drumfire II W is positioned as the flagship model, aimed at those who appreciate punchy, rich audio. It features an active setup with Class D digital amplifiers delivering up to 100W of total power, along with two tweeters and two midrange drivers that provide deep, controlled bass and detailed high frequencies. The system supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, plus Google Cast, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect, allowing it to serve as part of a multi-room setup and sync playback throughout the home.

The Drumfire D-2 W comes in a smaller enclosure but offers a similar sonic character and the same key connectivity features. When paired with a subwoofer, it automatically adjusts the crossover, offloading the lowest frequencies to the sub and enabling the speakers to play louder without distortion. Both models are controlled via the updated Audio Pro app, which provides access to streaming services, Wi-Fi synchronization, and over-the-air firmware updates.

Visually, the new Drumfire units maintain the series' classic style with leather-like finishes, decorative stitching, and aluminum accents, but they feature a cleaner, more contemporary look. The manufacturer emphasizes that the design is intended to be versatile, fitting seamlessly into both modern and more traditional interiors. They are available in black, gray, and white color options.

The Drumfire II W and Drumfire D-2 W are now on sale in Europe, the UK, and the US. The recommended price for the Drumfire II W is around 700 euros or dollars, while the compact Drumfire D-2 W is priced at approximately 400 euros or dollars, positioning Audio Pro's new offerings as compelling choices in the premium wireless home speaker segment.
