Google is rolling out new Android features like cross-device Do Not Disturb sync, universal clipboard, and task switching to enhance multi-device convenience.

Google is preparing new cross-platform features for Android that will make working across multiple devices more convenient than ever. One of the main innovations will be the ability to sync "Do Not Disturb" mode across all connected Android devices simultaneously. If you enable this option on one phone, it will automatically activate on all other devices linked to your Google account.

Previously, such synchronization was only available in limited combinations, for example between a Pixel smartphone and Pixel Watch, or between Galaxy and Galaxy Watch. The new feature will expand support to devices from different manufacturers, significantly improving convenience for users with multiple gadgets.

Additionally, Google is working on a universal clipboard that will allow copying and pasting text and files between various Android devices without additional apps or actions. The company also plans to implement task switching capability, enabling users to start work on one device and continue it on another.

These changes demonstrate that Google is actively adopting the best ideas from Apple and adapting them for Android. Features similar to Continuity will allow users to more effectively synchronize their activities between devices and improve the overall Android ecosystem.
