Samsung Galaxy A57 full specifications and launch details

Samsung is preparing to launch a new mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A57, with full specifications revealed through its appearance in the Chinese regulator TENAA's database. This certification provides a detailed look at what to expect from the next device in the popular Galaxy A series.

According to TENAA data, the Galaxy A57 will feature a slim body measuring just 6.9 mm in thickness and weighing 182 grams. It will sport a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display. While the panel type isn't explicitly stated, support for 16 million colors strongly suggests an AMOLED screen. An in-display fingerprint scanner is included, now standard for the A-series.

At its core, the device uses an octa-core processor with frequencies up to 2.9 GHz. Although TENAA doesn't name the chip directly, leaks and Geekbench tests point to a new Exynos 1680. The smartphone will come in configurations with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It will run Android 16 with the One UI 8 interface, and following the precedent of the Galaxy A56, users can likely expect up to six years of system and security updates.

Battery life will be handled by a roughly 5,000 mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. The camera setup includes a 12-megapixel front-facing camera and a triple rear module with 50 MP (main), 12 MP (ultra-wide), and 5 MP (macro) sensors, with the primary sensor likely being the Sony IMX906. The Galaxy A57 is expected to debut in early 2026, shortly before the flagship Galaxy S26 series announcement.
