Xiaomi has expanded its lineup of home audio products with the launch of the Sound 2 Pro speaker. This new model targets Hi-Fi sound quality and features a durable metal enclosure with a premium finish. Positioned below the flagship Sound 2 Max, the Sound 2 Pro delivers powerful audio, a two-way driver configuration, and a modern set of connectivity options.

Built with a solid metal chassis, the Xiaomi Sound 2 Pro enhances structural rigidity and improves acoustic performance. In terms of design, it resembles the larger Sound 2 Max but comes in a more compact form factor at a lower price point. Inside, a two-way system uses separate drivers for mid and high frequencies: a 40-watt mid-range unit handles rich bass, while a 20-watt tweeter delivers clear highs. Total output power reaches 60 watts.

For wireless connectivity, the speaker supports Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6, enabling both standard streaming and integration into home networks. Wired interfaces include RCA and USB-C ports, allowing the Sound 2 Pro to connect to televisions, computers, and other audio equipment. Users can also link up to four speakers simultaneously for synchronized playback or expanded sound coverage.

The speaker integrates with Xiaomi's HyperOS smart home ecosystem. In China, the Xiaomi Sound 2 Pro is priced at 1,399 yuan, equivalent to approximately 201 US dollars. Currently, the device is only available in its home market, with no information on a global release.
