The iQOO 15R features Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, high gaming scores, and rumored 1.5K AMOLED display. Learn about its specs and expected launch.
The iQOO 15R smartphone has made its first appearance in the Geekbench database, revealing key specifications. While the brand hasn't officially shared device specs yet, the benchmark confirms the new model will feature a flagship Qualcomm platform.
According to Geekbench data, the iQOO 15R with model number I2508 runs on an eight-core processor with two cores clocked at 3.8 GHz and six cores at 3.32 GHz, along with Adreno 829 graphics. This configuration directly indicates the use of Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The tested sample ran Android 16 and was equipped with 8GB of RAM, though retail versions will likely offer configurations with more memory.
In performance tests, the smartphone scored 2,590 points in single-core mode and 8,423 points in multi-core mode. The graphics test result was 21,075 points, confirming the device's focus on high performance and gaming. iQOO itself already positions the model as a smartphone with powerful hardware and a comfortable form factor.
Rumors suggest the iQOO 15R is a renamed version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo recently launched in China. If this information proves accurate, the smartphone could feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, along with a battery capacity of approximately 7,600 mAh supporting 100W fast charging. The official announcement is expected soon.
