Xiaomi's new UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank, a 6mm-thick wireless battery, is now available in Europe and Japan. Features 5000mAh, 15W wireless charging, and magnetic attachment for iPhones and Pixels.

Xiaomi has begun the global rollout of its new UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank, an ultra-thin magnetic external battery that was previously available only in Asia. The device debuted in Japan and is now gradually appearing on European markets, expanding availability for users who value compactness and the convenience of wireless charging.

The key feature of this new product is its thickness of just 6 mm, making it thinner than most modern smartphones. Weighing only 98 grams, it’s barely noticeable in a bag or pocket. The magnetic attachment is designed as a ring, allowing it to securely attach to compatible smartphones like the latest iPhone or Google Pixel 10 models, eliminating the need for constant cable connections.

Inside, there’s a 5,000 mAh battery that supports wireless charging at up to 15 W. Via USB-C, it can deliver up to 22.5 W with a wired connection. Android flagships from Samsung, Xiaomi, and Google operate at full power, while iPhones are limited to 7.5 W due to Apple’s platform specifics, meaning magnetic charging will be noticeably slower for them.

Xiaomi positions the UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank as a minimalist solution for travelers and those who want backup power without bulky accessories. Its compact format makes it a handy addition to everyday gadget kits, especially for people frequently on the move. In the UK, the device is already listed on Xiaomi’s official website at a price of £50, with sales also expanding in Japan and several European countries. Exact release dates for other regions haven’t been announced yet, but the gradual rollout suggests the new product will soon be available worldwide.
