Apple Music on iOS 26 gets its biggest update: AutoMix DJ blends, full-screen Lock Screen art, pinned playlists, new widgets, Replay, and lyric translations.

Apple Music on iOS 26 has received its biggest update in years. The new system rolls out a slate of features that make listening more convenient and library management more flexible.

The headline addition is AutoMix, which behaves like a DJ: artificial intelligence analyzes your tracks and blends them seamlessly, turning separate songs into a continuous stream.

The visuals get an upgrade as well—full‑screen, animated album art now lives on the Lock Screen, adding a touch of polish and making the iPhone’s always‑on display look even more striking.

To keep libraries tidy, Apple now lets you pin up to six playlists, albums, or artists to the top of your library.

Personalization also expands with three Home Screen widgets: two focused on pinned tracks and one for quick access to Apple Music radio stations.

Replay, previously confined to the web, is now fully built into the app. At any time, users can check listening stats and a personalized “music report.”

Organizing collections is simpler, too—iOS 26 lets you create and edit playlist folders right from an iPhone or iPad.

Language features get special attention: lyrics can be translated in real time, and you can view a transcription with pronunciation cues.

Taken together, these additions turn Apple Music from a basic player into a fuller platform for a deeper, more personal experience.
