Get the latest Samsung Galaxy S26 price info for France. Learn about costs for the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, including storage options and launch dates.
New pricing information for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series has emerged in France, finally bringing clarity to what has been the most debated topic surrounding the upcoming flagships. After rumors of potential price hikes reaching hundreds of euros, an investigation by local sources points to a more moderate, though still noticeable, increase compared to the Galaxy S25.
The official unveiling of the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected on February 25, 2026, with sales reportedly set to begin on March 11. The key changes won't just be spec upgrades, like the new Exynos 2600 processors for the base models and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for the Ultra, but also a revision of the pricing strategy amid rising component costs.
The French price list indicates the Galaxy S26 with 256GB of storage will cost 999 euros, the Galaxy S26+ will be 1,269 euros, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra starts at 1,469 euros, matching its predecessor's price specifically for the 256GB version. This stands as the only pleasant exception, as other configurations see more significant jumps. For instance, the 512GB Ultra model is now priced at 1,669 euros, while the 1TB variant reaches 1,969 euros.
Interestingly, the lineup will no longer include a 128GB version for the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, which effectively raises the entry price for the series. All models will launch in four base colors—black, white, blue, and purple—with exclusive shades likely reserved for Samsung's official store.
While the price increase is confirmed, sources emphasize it's not the alarming 500-euro spike some early leaks suggested. For buyers, the main hope now lies with pre-orders: Samsung might offset the higher costs with bonuses, discounts, and gifts to make the Galaxy S26 launch more appealing.
