Samsung is preparing One UI 8.5, with internal testing for Galaxy S, Z, A, M, F series, and tablets. Expected release with Galaxy S26 in February.

Samsung is already hard at work preparing One UI 8.5, even though the public beta is currently only available for the Galaxy S25 series. In recent weeks, internal builds of the new interface have appeared on the company's test servers for dozens of Galaxy smartphones and tablets, signaling extensive development efforts.

It's important to note that these versions are strictly for internal testing and cannot be installed by users. A device appearing on the list simply means Samsung is adapting the firmware, but it doesn't guarantee a quick update rollout.

The testing covers nearly all flagship lineups, including the Galaxy S24, S23, and S22 models, as well as foldable devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and even the experimental Galaxy Z TriFold. The list also includes previous generations of Fold and Flip models, starting from the sixth series and going back to the fourth.

Beyond flagships, Samsung is testing One UI 8.5 on mass-market Galaxy A, M, and F models—ranging from relatively new devices like the A56 and M56 to entry-level budget phones. Simultaneously, the update is being trialed on tablets including the Tab S11, Tab S10, Tab S9, and rugged models like the Tab Active 5.

Builds for future smartphones have also been spotted on the servers, including the Galaxy S26 series and new Galaxy A57 and A37 models. The stable version of One UI 8.5 is expected to debut alongside the Galaxy S26 in February, bringing a refreshed design, liquid glass effects, new AI features, and an improved quick access panel.
