TCL RayNeo Air 3s Pro AR glasses: 1,200‑nit Micro‑OLED, spatial audio, TÜV eye care, phone/PC/console support, and a $249 launch shipping in early September.

TCL has announced the global launch of its RayNeo Air 3s Pro augmented reality glasses, previously available only in China. The pitch is straightforward: high display brightness, long-wear comfort, and enhanced spatial audio to deliver a theater-like experience right in front of your eyes.

The glasses use a HueView 2.0 display built on 5.5th‑generation Micro‑OLED, offering up to 1,200 nits of brightness, a 200,000:1 contrast ratio, and 98% coverage of the DCI‑P3 color space. The image is presented as if you’re viewing a 201‑inch screen from six meters away. There are multiple viewing modes, including Cinema, Game, Eye Protection, and Vision Boost.

Comfort hasn’t been left to chance: the device weighs just 76 grams, features adjustable temples, and includes three nose-pad options. The frames support prescription lenses. The model carries a TÜV eye‑care certification, keeps blue light low, and offers 20 brightness levels. The overall emphasis suggests TCL wants users to settle in for extended sessions without fatigue.

Audio comes from four speakers powered by RayNeo’s spatial sound algorithms. A Whisper Mode is designed to direct sound toward the ears, reducing leakage in public settings. Connectivity covers smartphones on iOS and Android, PCs, and consoles including Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch via the JoyDock accessory. Launch pricing is set at $249 instead of $299, with shipping slated for September 1–3. Taken together, the package reads like a clear push for a portable big‑screen feel without leaving the couch.
