Google Pixel 11 series to launch in August 2026 with Tensor G6 chip, four models, and AI enhancements. Learn about release dates, specs, and pre-order info.
Google is preparing to unveil the Pixel 11 series, new smartphones built on the Google Tensor G6 processor. While there has been no official announcement, leaks and historical data suggest Google will likely hold a presentation in mid-August 2026. Pre-orders for the four devices in the series could open on announcement day, with sales starting around late August to early September.
Rumors point to possible presentation dates on Tuesdays: August 11 and 18, 2026. A Wednesday is also possible, as seen with the Pixel 8 and Pixel 10 announcements. The "Made by Google" special event will be dedicated to the Pixel 11 series, with invitations likely sent in July or late June.
The Pixel 11 series will come in four models: Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All models except the Fold will go on sale simultaneously. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold may launch later, but pre-orders for it will probably open at the same time as the other models.
The main upgrade will be the new Tensor G6 chip, built on a 2-nanometer process. This promises to be faster, more energy-efficient, and optimized for AI tasks. The smartphones will also feature a Titan M3 chip for security and a MediaTek M90 modem to improve 5G speed and quality. A major camera overhaul seems unlikely for now, but AI functions will be advanced, with deeper integration into Gemini.
The Pixel 11 design will keep the recognizable Google Pixel style with flat edges and similar screen sizes. The camera panel will become fully black, and the bezels may get thinner. Overall, the Pixel 11 series represents an evolutionary update with a necessary feature set and strong AI support.
