Apply for Sony's Playerbase program to get 3D scanned and appear as a character in Gran Turismo 7. Open to PSN users worldwide, with winner announced in 2026.

Sony has launched a new community program called The Playerbase that allows one lucky fan to become a character in Gran Turismo 7. The winner will undergo full 3D scanning of their face and body, with their portrait appearing in the game for a limited time. Looking ahead, Sony plans to expand this initiative to other PlayStation Studios projects.

PSN users from various regions can apply by sharing their PlayStation gaming experiences. Finalists will be selected for interviews, and the ultimate winner will be invited to Los Angeles for the 3D scanning process. The announcement is scheduled for summer 2026, with the portrait set to appear in a future Gran Turismo 7 update.

The winner will also collaborate with artists to create a custom logo and unique car livery for the Gran Turismo 7 Showcase. PlayStation will cover all travel and participation expenses.

The Playerbase is open to gamers aged 18 and older with PSN accounts from North and South America, Europe, Asia, South Africa, and Australia. Applications are being accepted through the official website, with the final selection and winner announcement coming in summer 2026.
