Discover Suunto Spark open-ear headphones with 36-hour battery, bone conduction, and sports analysis for posture correction. Priced at $179, ideal for training and daily use.
Suunto has unveiled the Spark, a new open-ear headphone model priced at $179. With 36 hours of battery life, a lightweight design, and sports analysis capabilities, it stands apart from typical audio devices.
The Spark headphones track not just steps and running technique but also head position, which helps correct posture during fatigue and boosts training efficiency. This functionality is usually only found in sports watches or chest sensors, making the Spark a unique training tool.
Spark's design uses bone conduction technology, sitting near the ear canal while allowing ambient sounds to be heard. This makes them comfortable for both sports and everyday use, broadening their appeal. The headphones support LHDC 5.0, spatial audio with head tracking, custom EQ settings, and dual-device Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. With IP55 water and sweat resistance and a weight under 10 grams, they ensure comfort during long workouts and daily life.
The Spark complements Suunto's lineup alongside the Wing 2, offering a more versatile option for active users. This device is suitable for music listening, commuting, and training, creating a broad ecosystem for sports and everyday activities.
