DJI Osmo Pocket 4 launches with 1-inch sensor, 4K 240fps slow-motion, 240-minute battery, and bundles from 499 euros. Ideal for vloggers and creators.

DJI is set to unveil its new vlogging camera, the Osmo Pocket 4, on April 16. Ahead of the official announcement, detailed specifications, pricing, and even the contents of the bundles have leaked online. The new model represents a logical evolution of the series, offering a significant upgrade over its predecessor.

The headline improvement is an updated 1-inch sensor with enhanced dynamic range. The camera will be capable of shooting slow-motion video in 4K at 240 frames per second. It gains a full 10-bit D-Log profile, mechanical three-axis stabilization, and a revamped ActiveTrack 7.0 system with intelligent focus tracking. New features also include 2x optical zoom without quality loss and 4x digital zoom during recording.

Major changes have been made to battery life and storage. The Osmo Pocket 4 can operate for up to 240 minutes when shooting in 1080p at 24fps, a notable increase over the previous generation. For the first time in the series, it includes built-in storage of 107 GB and supports Wi-Fi 6 and USB 3.1, enabling data transfer speeds of up to 90 MB/s wirelessly and 800 MB/s via cable. Additionally, the camera features the OsmoAudio system with four-channel sound and expanded image processing functions.

The base version, called the Standard Combo, will cost 499 euros, down from an initially planned 539 euros. This bundle includes the camera itself, a stabilizer mount, a wrist strap, a USB-C cable with USB 3.1 support, a handle with a 1/4-inch thread, and a compact carrying case.

The advanced Creator Combo is priced at 619 euros, reduced from 679 euros. It contains everything from the base version, plus additional lighting, a wide-angle lens, a mini tripod, a carrying bag, and an accessory kit with the DJI Mic 3 microphone. This kit also includes a magnet, various windshields, a clip, and a magnetic charging cable for the microphone, making it a complete content creation solution right out of the box.

Overall, the Osmo Pocket 4 promises to be one of the most functional compact solutions on the market, blending professional-grade filming capabilities with a portable form factor.
