Discover the Motorola Moto G87 with a groundbreaking 200MP main camera, 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED display, and military-grade durability. Coming soon to global markets.

Motorola has officially unveiled the Moto G87, positioning it as one of the most advanced handsets in the G series. Its standout feature is a 200-megapixel main camera — the highest resolution in the lineup. The camera boasts optical image stabilization and supports 2x lossless zoom. It's joined by an 8-megapixel ultrawide module and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the Moto G87 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset and offers up to 12GB of RAM. Up front, there's a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

The device also emphasizes durability with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, along with compliance with the MIL-STD-810H military standard, which includes resistance to drops from up to 1.2 meters. Audio gets an upgrade thanks to dual speakers that deliver noticeably more powerful sound than earlier G-series models. A 5,200mAh battery with 30W charging keeps things running, and the phone ships with Android 16.

Motorola plans to launch the Moto G87 in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America in the coming weeks. In some markets, it will be sold under the name Moto G Max. Pricing has not been announced.
