Explore MediaTek Dimensity 9500 phones: Vivo X300 Pro, OPPO Find X9 Pro, Honor Magic 8 Pro Air. Affordable flagships with great cameras and battery life.
2026 has been the year MediaTek cemented its place in the top tier of mobile chipsets. Built on a 3nm process, the Dimensity 9500 delivers performance and energy efficiency on par with Qualcomm’s best—without the usual brand premium. The result is a wave of flagships that push the envelope on specs while keeping prices notably attractive.
With a focus on high graphics throughput, advanced AI algorithms, and consistent performance under load, the Dimensity 9500 ensures that the phones built around it aren’t just “affordable flagships.” They’re genuine rivals to this year’s most expensive models.
Photography takes center stage on the Vivo X300 Pro. Its triple-camera system includes a 50MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto with optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide unit. The front-facing camera also packs a 50MP sensor, making the phone a versatile imaging tool for both photos and video.
The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display runs at 120Hz and reaches a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support make it a great companion for content consumption. The device launches with Android 16 and is guaranteed to receive up to five major OS updates.
A 6,510 mAh battery (in the global variant) delivers impressive endurance, while 90W wired and 40W wireless charging keep refueling times short. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C 3.2 port.
The Vivo X300 targets users who prefer a more compact device. Its 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED screen still offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500-nit peak brightness. Despite the smaller size, the camera setup is far from basic: a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 3x zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide. A 50MP front camera rounds out the package. The phone ships with Android 16 and will be updated all the way to Android 21.
The 6,040 mAh battery provides solid longevity, and 90W fast charging along with 40W wireless charging make daily use a breeze.
A standout feature of the OPPO Find X9 Pro is its enormous 7,500 mAh battery—one of the largest in any flagship this year. Charging is handled by 80W wired and 50W wireless solutions.
The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display runs at 120Hz and hits 3,600 nits. Cameras include a 50MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide, plus a 50MP front shooter. The device runs Android 16 with a promise of five OS updates, and connectivity covers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC.
The standard Find X9 opts for a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz and 3,600 nits peak brightness. Instead of the Pro’s 200MP telephoto, it uses a triple 50MP setup: main, periscope telephoto with 3x zoom, and ultrawide. The front camera settles in at 32MP.
A 7,025 mAh battery ensures excellent stamina, and the same 80W wired and 50W wireless charging combo makes the device a versatile choice.
The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air is currently exclusive to China, but a global launch is expected. One of its headline features is the 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display, which peaks at a staggering 6,000 nits—making it one of the brightest screens on the market. The panel runs at 120Hz.
The camera array consists of a 50MP main, a 64MP periscope telephoto with 3.2x zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide, while the front camera also uses a 50MP sensor. It runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10 on top.
The 5,500 mAh battery supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, and you get Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC.
The Dimensity 9500 has become the foundation for a new generation of flagships that offer high performance, excellent cameras, and serious battery life—all without an extreme price tag. In 2026, buyers no longer need to pay a premium for a chipset logo; MediaTek has shown it can compete head-to-head.
Each of these smartphones takes its own approach to the ideal flagship, whether through record battery capacity, an advanced camera system, or an ultra-bright display. That makes today’s market far more interesting than it was just a few years ago.
