MSI is releasing a limited-edition Star Wars GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with only 500 units, featuring Mandalorian and Grogu design. Full reveal May 20.

MSI celebrated May 4—Star Wars Day—by teasing a new GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card styled after the Star Wars universe. The limited-edition card takes inspiration from The Mandalorian series and its character Grogu. A full unveiling is planned for May 20, with production restricted to just 500 units. For Star Wars fans and collectors, such a tiny run makes this a coveted piece.

The timing also ties into the upcoming movie The Mandalorian & Grogu, the franchise’s first major theatrical release in years. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film premieres on May 22, 2026 and stars Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, and Jeremy Allen White.

MSI hasn’t yet shared any technical specs. From the teaser, the changes appear mostly cosmetic: a custom cooler shroud, unique backplate, and themed packaging. The core hardware is likely to remain stock.

The standard GeForce RTX 5080 is built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, ships with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory, and—depending on the variant—uses a 256-bit bus with up to 10,752 CUDA cores. Partner cards like the Gaming Trio series are already on the market, but this limited edition will stand out purely through its design.

The May 20 launch event is expected to clarify whether the card relies on the existing Gaming Trio cooler or boasts an entirely unique thermal solution.
