RingConn Gen 3 smart ring launches on May 5 with continuous blood pressure monitoring. No manual readings needed. Available in gold and silver finishes.
RingConn is gearing up to launch its latest consumer smart ring, the RingConn Gen 3. The company has kicked off a teaser campaign and confirmed that the device will be unveiled on May 5. It will be available in at least two finishes—gold and silver.
The standout feature of the RingConn Gen 3 is a focus on vascular health and blood pressure monitoring. According to the company, users won't need to take separate manual readings anymore. Instead, simply wearing the lightweight ring will track blood pressure continuously and unobtrusively over long periods.
In practice, this approach turns the ring into a much more useful tool for everyday health management. Continuous background monitoring can reveal how numbers shift throughout the day, offering a fuller picture of one's health than occasional spot checks. The exact technical details behind the blood pressure feature, however, haven't been shared yet.
With the Gen 3, RingConn seems to be pushing smart rings beyond sleep and basic activity tracking. If the blood pressure monitoring proves accurate and easy to use, the new model could become one of the standout wearables for long-term health monitoring.
