Forza Horizon 6 goes gold for May 19 launch. New accessibility features like autopilot, radar, and color-blind filters, plus the biggest soundtrack across nine radio stations.
Forza Horizon 6 has gone gold, with the developers confirming that development is now complete and the game is entering the manufacturing phase ahead of its May 19 launch on PC and Xbox.
This time around, the team is putting a strong emphasis on accessibility, introducing a comprehensive set of features for players with various needs. These include color-blindness filters, screen-reader support for the interface, subtitles, full text-to-speech for on-screen elements, a high-contrast mode, and expanded controller button visuals. All of which should make the experience much more inclusive.
On the driving front, new assistance options include an autopilot system and adaptive difficulty settings. A short-range radar also debuts, helping drivers spot vehicles lurking in blind spots for smoother, more predictable races.
Perhaps the most expansive addition is the soundtrack. Forza Horizon 6 boasts the largest music collection in the series, spread across nine radio stations covering a wide spectrum of genres: electronic, drum & bass, rock, indie, hip-hop, synthwave, and classical. Notable stations include Horizon Pulse, Bass Arena, Hospital Records, Sub Pop Records, and more, each tailored to a distinct vibe.
In short, this sequel targets two key areas—making the game more inclusive and comfortable for a broader audience, and crafting a richly varied atmosphere through music and radio.
