OPPO is reportedly testing a 100-megapixel front camera with Apple-like Center Stage auto-tracking. Could debut in Find X10 series this fall, setting a new trend for Android flagships.

Android flagships could soon feature a front-facing camera similar to Apple's Center Stage system. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, a manufacturer — likely OPPO — is already testing the tech.

A standout feature of the iPhone 17 lineup is its front camera with an 18-megapixel square sensor. That design works well in both portrait and landscape orientations, and automatically keeps subjects centered during photos or video calls.

According to the leak, OPPO is exploring a similar setup for its upcoming phones, but with a significantly higher resolution. The prototype reportedly packs a 100-megapixel front sensor. That would boost selfie quality, digital cropping, and auto subject tracking.

It’s unclear when the new camera will reach production devices. One possibility is that it debuts in the OPPO Find X10 and Find X10 Pro this fall. Alternatively, the company might hold it for pricier next-gen models, like a rumored Find X10 Ultra or the Find X11 series.

There’s no word yet on whether Samsung or other Android makers are working on similar solutions. But if OPPO does bring this tech to market, it could spark a new trend among flagships.
