Google Pixel 11 Pro Design Overhaul: Pixel Glow Leaks and Rumors

Google appears to be preparing a major design overhaul for the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro — and it may have already teased the device during its recent I/O conference. A brief moment in the presentation went largely unnoticed, but eagle-eyed viewers later spotted something unusual.

The image shows a smartphone in the familiar Pixel style, but with a key difference: an illuminated area around the camera module. Early speculation points to this being a new feature called Pixel Glow.

Published observations suggest the system is visually reminiscent of the light-based notification concept seen on the Nothing Phone. The glow could be used for notifications, event indicators, or even customizable color schemes tied to specific contacts and apps.

Google has not officially confirmed any of this, so the details remain in the realm of early speculation and teaser analysis.

Earlier leaks indicated that the Pixel 11 Pro might measure 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5 mm, making it slightly slimmer than its predecessor. It is also expected to retain a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display.

Based on preliminary CAD renders, the device could feature thinner bezels and a redesigned camera bump — now fully black instead of the two-tone design used on the previous model.

Rumored specs include that same 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, a 7-core Tensor G6 chipset, a MediaTek M90 modem, 256 GB of base storage, 12 or 16 GB of RAM, and a 5,500 mAh battery.

The starting price is rumored to be around $1,200, with an official launch expected in the second half of 2026.
