A new Garmin Connect code reference points to Enduro 4, raising fresh hints about Garmin’s next premium outdoor watch lineup.
Garmin appears to be preparing a new wave of premium watches for sports, hiking and ultra-distance adventures. The latest rumor started with a discovery inside the Android version of Garmin Connect: version 5.26 reportedly contains a reference to Enduro 4 in the device registry.
According to Gadgets & Wearables, that line was not present in the previous 5.25 version of the app. That suggests the entry appeared only recently and may be tied to Garmin’s preparations for a future announcement. Traces like this in apps do not guarantee an immediate launch, but they often surface when a device is already moving toward the final stages of preparation.
The interest around Enduro 4 is easy to understand because of how closely this line is linked to Fenix. Enduro is essentially the more battery-focused version of Garmin’s Fenix watches, built for long workouts, hikes and ultra-distance events. Enduro 3 launched alongside Fenix 8 in 2024, so the appearance of Enduro 4 may also hint that the wider Fenix 9 series is getting closer.
More context came from Garmin CEO Cliff Pemble, who previously told investors that the company expected stronger results in the second half of the year thanks to its product launch schedule. He also described the year as “very active” for Garmin’s outdoor business. That category includes Fenix and Enduro, along with other popular lines such as Instinct.
After launch, Fenix 8 quickly became one of Garmin’s key premium watches, while Enduro 3 earned a reputation as the model for users who care most about battery life. Reviews noted that Enduro keeps most Fenix features but puts the battery first: with moderate use, the watch could last almost a month without charging.
Garmin has not officially announced either Fenix 9 or Enduro 4 yet. But if the Garmin Connect leak really reflects the company’s current plans, new outdoor watches could arrive in the coming months, most likely in the second half of the year.
