Honor has launched the Watch 6 in the UK with long battery life, dual-band GPS, 5ATM and IP69 protection, and an early discount with free earbuds.
Honor has brought the Watch 6 to the global market after its Chinese debut as the Watch 6 Plus. The UK is the first launch country: the Shadow Black version costs £229.99 (about $310), while Twilight Brown is priced at £249.99 (about $338). During the first month, a promotion brings the prices down to £149.99 and £169.99 respectively (about $203 and $230), and buyers also get Honor Choice Earbuds Clip for free.
The Honor Watch 6 comes in a 46.5 mm case that is 10.8 mm thick. The black Shadow Black model uses an aluminium alloy body and weighs 41 grams without the strap, while Twilight Brown is made from 316L stainless steel and weighs 50 grams. The difference is easy to read: one version leans sportier, while the other clearly aims for a more classic look.
The main visual hook is a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with a 464 x 464-pixel resolution and peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. That should help outdoors, especially in direct sunlight. The screen supports wet-finger control, and the case is protected against water and dust to 5ATM and IP69 standards.
Battery life comes from a 980 mAh cell. In power-saving mode, the watch can last up to 35 days, while Honor promises around 17 days in typical use. For workouts, hikes and navigation, there is a dual-band L1+L5 GPS module that offers up to 42 hours of continuous route tracking.
The Honor Watch 6 runs MagicOS and supports more than 120 sports modes. Football and badminton get special attention: the watch can record sprint speed, build heat maps of movement and analyse shots, including power and the balance between forehand and backhand hits. Health tools cover heart rate, sleep, stress and heart-rate variability, along with recovery and fatigue scores. A built-in microphone and speaker are included for voice notes, notifications can arrive from two smartphones at once, and NFC payments via Fidesmo with Visa and Mastercard are listed with regional availability in mind.
