Google has released Android 17 for Pixel devices, while other brands are still preparing their own rollout schedules and eligible model lists.
Google released Android 17 for compatible Pixel devices on June 16, but owners of phones and tablets from other brands still have the big question: will the update reach their model? So far, only Google has published an official list, so the rest is based on current manufacturer update policies, early tests and expected rollout schedules. This is not a final statement from the brands, but these models look like the most likely candidates for Android 17.
For Google, the update is already available for the Pixel 6, Pixel 7, Pixel 8, Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 series, including Pro, Pro XL, Pro Fold and “a” versions, as well as the Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet. Samsung is testing One UI 9.0 based on Android 17 on the Galaxy S26, while the stable release is expected alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 in July 2026. The most likely list includes the Galaxy S23, S24, S25 and S26 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold 6 and Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Flip 6 and Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, Galaxy Z TriFold, recent Galaxy A, M and F models, Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S10 and Tab S11 tablets, FE versions, Tab A11, Tab Active 5 and Galaxy XCover 7.

The update is expected for OnePlus Open, the OnePlus 11, 12, 13 and 15 series, Nord 4, 5 and 6, Nord CE 5 and 6, plus the OnePlus Pad 2, 3, 4, Pad Lite and Pad Go 2. Nothing is expected to begin rolling out Nothing OS 5.0 in November for Nothing Phone 2a, Phone 3, Phone 3a, Phone 4a and CMF Phone 2 Pro. Motorola may release Android 17 around October 2026 for the Razr 50, Razr 60 and Razr 70, including Plus and Ultra versions, the Edge 50, Edge 60 and Edge 70 lines, Edge 2025 and 2026, Moto G, G Power, G Play, G Stylus, G Max, Moto Pad, ThinkPhone 25 and Motorola Signature.
Xiaomi is already testing Android 17 on flagships, with a stable release expected in October 2026; China may get it a little earlier. Likely candidates include the Xiaomi Leica Leitzphone, Xiaomi 13T, 14, 14T, 15, 15T, 17, 17T and Mix Flip series. Redmi will probably join in November: Android 17 is expected for Redmi Note 14 and 15, Redmi 15, 15A and 15C, Redmi A5 and A7, Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Turbo 5. POCO should follow a similar timeline, with the update expected for the POCO F6, F7 and F8, X6, X7 and X8, M7 and M8 series, C71, C81 and C85, plus POCO Pad X1, M1 and C1.
