A new leak claims Redmi K90 Ultra pairs Snapdragon 8 Elite with active cooling, Redmi D2 graphics and strong gaming results.

According to a fresh leak, Redmi is preparing the K90 Ultra, and the first gaming tests have already surfaced online. They were shared by well-known insider Digital Chat Station, who claims the device delivers a very serious level of performance.

Preliminary data suggests the phone is built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite and paired with Redmi’s own Redmi D2 graphics chip. Stability under load is said to come from a large cooling system with a 6,700 mm² vapor chamber and an integrated active fan, so Redmi appears to be focusing not only on peak power but also on longer gaming sessions.

In a one-hour Genshin Impact test, the smartphone reportedly averaged 165 frames per second with three-times frame interpolation enabled. Average power draw was 5.8 W, while performance stayed steady throughout the session.

In Honkai: Star Rail, the device reached 59.7 frames per second with an average draw of 7.5 W. According to Digital Chat Station, the new model outperformed some Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phones in average frame rate, power consumption and even minimum FPS.

Results in other games also look strong. In PUBG, Redmi K90 Ultra reportedly held 164.8 FPS with almost no drops, while in Honor of Kings at maximum graphics settings it delivered a stable 144 FPS while drawing only 3.4 W. Even the minimum performance figure did not fall below 140 frames per second. A battery above 8,500 mAh and 100 W fast charging are also expected, though Redmi still has to confirm the final specifications officially.
