Google Pixel 11: August 12 event may reveal the full lineup

Google has sent invites for Made by Google 2026 in New York, where the Pixel 11 lineup, Pixel Watch 5 and new hardware upgrades may debut.

Google has sent out official invitations for Made by Google 2026. The event will take place on August 12 in New York. That is roughly a week earlier than last year’s Pixel 10 launch, and the timing does not look accidental: Google will land between Samsung’s July presentation and Apple’s expected September iPhone event.

The invitation itself, published by insider Mark Gurman, already appears to hint at the Pixel 11 Pro design. The image shows a gold-toned metal frame with flat edges and a wide horizontal camera bar stretching almost across the whole body. The look matches CAD render leaks that surfaced in the spring. If Google is putting this element directly on the invite, it clearly wants to warm up interest in the new design early.

The presentation is expected to bring the full Pixel 11 lineup: the base model, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL. A two-size Pixel Watch 5 announcement is also likely. The foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also mentioned in rumors, but its launch may slip, much like last year’s foldable model.

According to leaks, Google may drop the 128 GB version and make 256 GB the new base storage across the series. In Europe, the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are also expected to become roughly €100 more expensive. Possible hardware upgrades include the Tensor G6 chip, TSMC production on a 2 nm process, a new MediaTek M90 modem and a camera with Pixel Glow RGB lighting.

These specifications are still not official, but the wait is almost over. Made by Google 2026 could become Google’s biggest summer event and give Pixel 11 more time in the spotlight before Apple’s September presentation.
