Discover Xiaomi’s Smart Door Lock 4 Pro with palm-vein and 3D face recognition, dual cameras, and a 6,870 mAh battery for secure entry and home monitoring.

Xiaomi has introduced the Smart Door Lock 4 Pro Dual Camera Edition, a smart lock that blends facial recognition, palm-vein scanning, and built-in video surveillance. The device is already available in China and stands as the most advanced model in the company’s smart lock lineup.

Its standout capability is palm-vein identification. Using infrared sensors, the lock reads the unique vein pattern of a user’s hand, offering 99.999% accuracy and unlocking in under a second—speed that translates into everyday convenience without trading off security.

The lock also supports 3D facial recognition designed to resist spoofing with photos or video. It stays reliable even in low light. For those who prefer alternatives, access is also available via NFC, Bluetooth, cards, or a traditional key.

For both safety and ease of use, the lock is equipped with two cameras: a 3MP main unit with a 160-degree field of view and a 2MP secondary camera with a 128-degree angle.

This setup doesn’t just show who’s at the door; it helps keep tabs on the entryway, adding context that can matter in everyday situations.

Power comes from a 6,870 mAh battery with USB-C charging. With additional batteries installed, the device can operate for up to six months without recharging.

In China, the Smart Door Lock 4 Pro Dual Camera Edition is priced at 2,899 yuan (approximately 33,000 rubles).

Already on sale, and judging by its capabilities, it looks set to become one of the most technologically advanced home security options on the market.
