Early details on Samsung Galaxy Buds 4: One UI 8.5 icon hints at a rounded redesign, silicone tips, improved ANC, battery, and AI, debuting with Galaxy S26.

Early details about Samsung’s new Galaxy Buds 4 have surfaced, with rumors pointing to a debut alongside the Galaxy S26 flagship line in 2026. An icon for the Buds 4 spotted in the One UI 8.5 firmware hints at the upcoming model’s refreshed look.

Compared with last year’s Galaxy Buds 3, the next model appears less angular. The stem remains, but the case looks more rounded — even slightly flattened. The presence of in-ear tips with silicone sleeves is also evident, signaling an emphasis on passive noise isolation and long-wear comfort.

Specifications have not been disclosed, but expectations center on upgrades to sound quality, active noise cancellation, and battery life. Samsung is likely to keep expanding AI-driven features: Galaxy Buds 3 already supported real-time live translation, and the new version may take that further.

All told, Samsung seems to be preparing a careful refresh of the Buds line — a logical next step for the company’s earbuds that also leans into new AI features to compete with offerings from Apple and other manufacturers. More about Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro will most likely be shared at the Galaxy S26 launch.
