Discover the OPPO Watch S with Class II ECG, AI training readiness, 3,000-nit display, WeChat support and dual-platform sync, up to 10 days of battery life.
OPPO has unveiled the new OPPO Watch S—lightweight, stylish, and smart enough to serve as both a personal doctor and a coach. The wearable debuted alongside the Find X9 series, with sales starting on October 22 at 1,299 yuan (about $180), a clear pitch to health-focused users.
An 8.9 mm stainless-steel case and 35 g weight make the watch feel almost weightless, while a 3,000-nit display keeps information readable even under bright sun. The Watch S includes advanced sensors: it measures heart rate and blood oxygen with high accuracy, supports ECG electrodes and wrist temperature tracking, runs a 60-second medical screening, and flags potential risks.
Its ECG Analysis Prompt system carries a Class II medical device certification, taking the watch beyond pure fitness into basic health oversight. The Watch S is also the first OPPO watch to assess readiness for training using AI, factoring in sleep, heart rate variability, and a week of activity to deliver personalized recommendations. That emphasis on tuning guidance to the wearer feels particularly well judged.
In professional running mode, the watch tracks posture and cadence and calculates key metrics, helping training feel safer and more efficient. With the WeChat Watch version, users can send messages, make payments, and convert voice to text right on the wrist. The watch supports simultaneous connections to Android and iOS, with notifications synchronized via the cloud—a practical perk.
Rounding things out are useful touches like notifications for flights and trains, gate information, and integration with taxi services. The battery is rated for up to 10 days between charges.
