Vertu has officially unveiled its new flagship, the Agent Q, at an event in London’s Harrods. The choice of venue says a lot: this is a handset designed to be seen as much as used.

The device features a 6.02-inch AMOLED display with a 1080x2340 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood are a Snapdragon 8 Elite Supreme chip, 16 GB of RAM, and up to 1 TB of storage. Power comes from a 5,565 mAh battery with 65 W fast charging, a package that reads as confidently top-tier.

The camera setup aims for versatility: a 50 MP main camera with OIS and a variable aperture of f/1.59–4.0, a 50 MP ultrawide with a 122-degree field of view that also handles macro shots from 2.5 cm, and a 64 MP telephoto offering 2x optical zoom. The front camera is 32 MP. Stereo speakers with DTS Ultra round out the multimedia side, suggesting a device tuned for both imaging and entertainment.

One standout is Ruby Talk, a refreshed take on Vertu’s signature button. Pressing it connects the user to the AIGS network of more than 200 AI agents ready to handle requests, while the 24/7 live concierge remains available. Buyers also receive 10 TB of cloud storage. The blend of AI assistance with a human service presence looks like a deliberate attempt to keep luxury personal, not just smart.

Exclusivity is very much the point. The Agent Q is trimmed in crocodile leather, key elements are coated with a thick layer of gold, and the build comprises 320 hand-finished parts. It’s presented as an object of craft as much as a piece of technology—and it leans into that identity without hesitation.

For now, the smartphone can be purchased only at Harrods in London, a move that signals a return to the brand’s roots. The price remains undisclosed, though it’s reasonable to expect it to be steep.
