Discover the iQOO 15: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 2K M14 OLED, Q3 chip, 144 FPS gaming, 7,000 mAh battery with 100W charging, 50 MP triple cameras, OriginOS 6.
iQOO has unveiled its new flagship, the iQOO 15. The phone pairs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with a Samsung 2K display built on an M14 OLED panel and a 7,000 mAh battery.
The screen is one of the headline features: a 2K LEAD OLED panel with up to 6,000 nits of local peak brightness, DCI-P3+ coverage, precise color calibration, and eye-protection technology backed by dual TÜV Rheinland certification. On paper, it’s a bold display for the category. The iQOO 15 is clearly aimed at gamers: alongside the top-tier processor, it uses LPDDR5X Ultra RAM rated up to 9,600 Mbit/s, UFS 4.1 storage, and a dedicated Q3 chip that the company describes as a mobile graphics card. It handles hardware-accelerated rendering, ray tracing, and even a 2K + 144 FPS mode targeted at esports titles, a package that reads like a spec sheet built for competitive play.
The cooling system is presented as the largest in the industry: a single VC layer with graphene nanoparticles spanning more than 14,000 mm². In demanding scenarios, such as an hour of Genshin Impact, iQOO says the chassis temperature does not exceed 39.3°C. If those figures hold up in real-world play, sustained performance should be one of its calling cards.
Power comes from a next‑generation 7,000 mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The manufacturer promises steady operation without overheating, including during gaming sessions and live streaming. A 7,000 mAh cell at this level stands out and fits the device’s gaming focus.
The camera setup includes a 50 MP main Sony sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP periscope with optical zoom, and a 32 MP front camera. There is support for AI-based enhancements, Live Photo capture, and pro-oriented shooting modes. The uniform 50 MP trio hints at a balanced approach rather than spotlighting a single lens.
The phone runs OriginOS 6, which the company says will stay smooth for five years of active use. The update brings refined animations, smarter notifications, integration with the vivo ecosystem, and new productivity tools. The promise is ambitious, but the software direction suggests a clear focus on longevity and polish.
The iQOO 15 is already available for preorder at 4,200 yuan, with open sales to follow in the coming days.
