Insiders say Apple will launch an iPhone 20 in 2027 with a bezel‑less design and models like iPhone Air, 20 Pro and Fold, marking the series’ 20th anniversary.
According to insiders, Apple is preparing to launch an anniversary iPhone 20 in 2027, timed to the series’ 20th year.
The company has at times skipped model numbers—most notably in 2017, when it marked the first decade with a redesigned iPhone X and a new numbering scheme. In that vein, a senior researcher at Omdia suggested Apple could jump straight to iPhone 20, bypassing 19.
The upcoming family is said to promise a radical look with a bezel‑less display and smooth, flowing lines that create the impression of a seamless glass body. If it comes to market as described, the aesthetic would take Apple’s clean design language even further.
Alongside the standard model, the lineup is expected to include an iPhone Air, an iPhone 20 Pro, and the long‑awaited iPhone Fold.
For Apple, the iPhone 20 anniversary series could become a new milestone, blending bold design, fresh formats, and a broader range of models aimed at different kinds of users. The symbolism is obvious; the impact will hinge on how convincingly the hardware lives up to the promise.
