Discover DJI Osmo Mobile 8, a mobile stabilizer with AI tracking, DockKit and HarmonyOS, 360° rotation, built-in mic/light, 10h battery and USB-C phone charging.
DJI has unveiled the Osmo Mobile 8, a new mobile stabilizer priced at 898 yuan. It features a completely overhauled tracking module that can automatically follow people and animals without connecting to the DJI Mimo app. With a built-in microphone and light, the device feels less like a simple accessory and more like a ready-to-go tool for mobile filming.
Among the standout upgrades are support for HarmonyOS Smart Tracking and Apple DockKit, allowing users to activate intelligent tracking by tapping a smartphone to the handle via NFC. The Osmo Mobile 8 can also rotate 360 degrees horizontally, opening up more flexible panoramas and creative moves. DJI’s engineers added a low-angle shooting mode: tilt the pan axis forward and you can glide the camera close to the ground—especially handy when filming kids or pets.
A built-in extendable rod widens the field of view and helps position the device comfortably on a flat surface. DJI’s seventh-generation stabilization technology delivers shake-free footage even during active movement, while adjustable angles and height options add more energy to each shot. The battery offers up to 10 hours of runtime and can charge a smartphone via USB-C—a practical touch for longer sessions.
The new stabilizer is compatible with most modern smartphones weighing 170 to 300 grams and up to 10 millimeters thick. It’s adapted to work with Huawei Mate and Pura devices (starting with Mate 60 and Pura 70), as well as HUAWEI Watch 5 and newer. With Osmo Mobile 8, DJI is clearly pushing toward a versatile, compact solution that blends AI-driven features, thoughtful ergonomics, and professional-grade stabilization.
