Meet the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm: a compact rugged smartwatch with sapphire glass, 3,000-nit AMOLED, 10 ATM, 187 sports, and up to 17 days of battery life.
Amazfit has introduced a compact take on its rugged T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch, now in a 44 mm case. The model is currently available only in China, with a global launch expected in the near future. It comes in two finishes: Arctic Gold and Black Gold.
The case pairs reinforced plastic with a titanium bezel and buttons, preserving the line’s signature tough look while keeping weight down to 46.8 grams without the strap. Dimensions are 44.8 x 44.8 x 13.2 mm. The watch is rated for water resistance up to 100 meters (10 ATM) and includes a microphone, speaker, and a linear vibration motor. The more compact 44 mm build makes this rugged wearable easier to live with day to day.
Up front is a 1.32-inch AMOLED display at 466 x 466, delivering 353 ppi and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Sapphire glass protects the screen, and readability holds up even under direct sunlight—exactly what you want from an outdoor-focused device.
Connectivity covers 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 BLE for calls, the Zepp Flow voice assistant (in select regions), offline music playback, and app notifications. The watch works with Android 7.0 and above, as well as iOS 15.0 and newer. Athletes get 187 sport modes with automatic exercise recognition, advanced running tools, and syncing to Strava, Adidas Running, TrainingPeaks, Apple Health, and Google Fit.
Health tracking relies on the BioTracker 6.0 PPG sensor for heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, skin temperature, and sleep stages, including REM and brief daytime naps. For positioning, the watch supports six satellite systems and uses a circular GPS antenna to improve accuracy.
A 500 mAh battery powers the device for up to 17 days of typical use, around 8 days with heavy usage, and up to 86 hours with GPS enabled. In China, the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm is on sale for 2,305 yuan, roughly $320. The mix of materials, bright display, and long endurance suggests a well-balanced upgrade that doesn’t overcomplicate what already works.
