MSI reveals the RTX 5050 INSPIRE ITX and INSPIRE ITX OC: ultra-compact Blackwell GPUs for 1080p gaming, 130 W, DP 2.1b and HDMI - perfect for small ITX builds.
MSI has officially unveiled two new graphics cards in the GeForce RTX 5050 INSPIRE ITX line—likely the most compact RTX 5050 versions on the market. At just 147 mm long and weighing 551 grams, they look tailor‑made for tiny builds and ITX cases where every millimeter matters.
Both models—the RTX 5050 INSPIRE ITX and the RTX 5050 INSPIRE ITX OC—carry a clean, single‑fan, dual‑slot design. The cards strike a neat, understated look that stays true to the INSPIRE series’ minimalist aesthetic.
As for specifications and performance, MSI lists boost clocks up to 2,587 MHz for the standard version and 2,617 MHz for the OC. The GPU is built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, tuned for 1080p gaming. Power consumption is rated at 130 W, with a single PCIe 8‑pin connector for power. Display outputs include three DisplayPort 2.1b and one HDMI, with support for high resolutions and refresh rates.
It’s worth keeping in mind that the RTX 5050 sits at the entry level of the Blackwell lineup. It’s geared toward smooth Full HD play rather than chasing triple‑digit frame rates in demanding titles—an honest positioning that should help set expectations.
The ZERO FROZR cooling system combines heat pipes with a TORX 5.0 fan to sustain steady airflow under load. The overall layout echoes the RTX 5060 INSPIRE 2X OC, trimmed back slightly to save space without losing the essentials.
MSI is clearly aiming at the compact PC crowd with these boards, and the strategy feels on point. The new RTX 5050 INSPIRE ITX cards suit builders who want a small, modern rig without giving up on tidy design or competent cooling.
