Meet the Xiaomi PB2165: a 20,000 mAh, 165 W fast-charging power bank with a built-in 6 A cable, 120+45 W dual output, 90 W input and display, priced around $40.
Xiaomi has introduced the PB2165, a compact power bank that pushes up to 165 W of charging power while promising sub-$40 pricing. It is already up for preorder on JD.com, with official sales kicking off on November 1. The list price is set at 299 yuan, which translates to about $42.
The newcomer sticks to Xiaomi’s minimalist look and adds a built-in braided cable rated for up to 6 A. It is a small but meaningful quality-of-life tweak that removes the hassle of carrying extra cords, making the unit ready to use at home or on the road.
Performance figures are ambitious. Through a single port, the PB2165 supports 120 W, which Xiaomi says is enough to recharge a Xiaomi 17 Pro in roughly 39 minutes and a Redmi K80 Pro in about 47 minutes. Use two ports at once and the device delivers a combined 165 W output (120 W + 45 W), which is ample for topping up a phone, tablet, or even a laptop without an obvious hit to speed. For this class of accessory, that kind of headroom signals serious pace.
Under the shell are four 5,000 mAh cells for a total capacity of 20,000 mAh. The bank itself takes in power at up to 90 W, reaching 27% in 15 minutes and a full charge in around 2 hours 40 minutes. A small color display on the body shows real-time charging details such as current power delivery, remaining capacity, and other key metrics—a welcome touch for keeping tabs on what is happening.
Put together, the Xiaomi PB2165 lands among the most accessible and feature-rich 165 W power banks, blending brisk performance, day-to-day convenience, and aggressive pricing in a package that is hard to ignore for anyone focused on fast charging.
