Ifølge rykter kan NVIDIA gjenutgi GeForce RTX 3060 med 12 GB minne i 2026 på grunn av forsinkelser for RTX 5050. Lær om fordeler og produksjon.
If insider reports are to be believed, NVIDIA is considering bringing the GeForce RTX 3060 with 12 GB memory back to the market. The reason for this move is a potential delay for the new budget model, the RTX 5050, which was supposed to take over the affordable segment.
The leak indicates that the launch of the GeForce RTX 5050 with 9 GB memory is uncertain. As a temporary solution, the company is therefore looking at the RTX 3060. Updated batches of this graphics card are expected to be available for sale in June 2026, which would fill a gap in the product range.
Interestingly, the RTX 3060 still holds its own in several areas despite being an older model. For example, it has 12 GB of video memory, which is more than the planned RTX 5050. The use of GDDR6 memory could also be an advantage in terms of component availability compared to the newer GDDR7.
The model's return is also connected to the restart of production at Samsung facilities using the 8-nm process. This allows NVIDIA to quickly increase production of a proven solution without having to wait for new products. However, NVIDIA has not officially commented on the rumours about the RTX 3060's comeback. Still, given the market situation and possible delays with new graphics cards, such a step seems quite logical, especially in the affordable GPU segment.
