Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Edition unveiled in China

Realme has unveiled a special take on its flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Edition, now available in China. This limited run was created with the Aston Martin Formula 1 team and blends the top-tier specs of the GT 8 Pro with an exclusive motorsport aesthetic.

The phone comes in a single configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The body is finished in Racing Lime, while the camera module features a carbon-fiber texture and a silver wing emblem. The back panel is shaped with an aerodynamic curve for a more comfortable grip. The device ships in collector packaging with themed accessories, two custom cases, and a miniature race car.

For the Aston Martin edition, Realme has tuned its Realme UI with exclusive animations, wallpapers, icons, signature charging effects, and camera watermarks. These touches make the collaboration feel cohesive rather than merely cosmetic.

There are no hardware changes: the smartphone carries a 6.79-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 7,000 nits. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and packs a 7,000 mAh battery with 120 W wired and 50 W wireless charging.

The camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 200 MP periscope with 10x optical and 120x digital zoom. Video recording goes up to 4K at 120 frames per second. The zoom numbers, in particular, look ambitious even by flagship standards.

The limited edition is priced at 5,499 yuan (around $770). The GT 8 Pro is heading to global markets this month, though it remains unclear whether the Aston Martin F1 Edition will be offered outside China. If it stays exclusive, its collector appeal will only intensify.
