Honor X80 leaks: 10,000 mAh battery, 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED, Snapdragon 7

Honor is widening its lineup of long-lasting devices, preparing a second smartphone with a battery exceeding 10,000 mAh. According to leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS), the model—presumably called Honor X80—will feature a Snapdragon 7-series chipset and a large 6.8-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution in a flat design with gently rounded corners. The package clearly aims at day-long endurance without drama.

Certification data backs up the battery claims: the cell has already appeared in the 3C database with a nominal capacity of 9,755 mAh, while the typical capacity will edge past 10,000 mAh. That puts the phone among the most energy-dense options on the market, signaling a focus on stamina over extras.

Sources suggest this is part of the X series and could replace the Honor X70, which debuted in mid-2025 with an 8,300 mAh battery and 80 W charging. However, unlike its predecessor, DCS indicates the Honor X80 will skip wireless charging—mirroring another ultra–high-capacity model, the Honor Power 2 based on the Dimensity 8500. The message is consistent: longer life takes priority over charging frills.

The Honor X80 is expected to arrive in China around July 2026. In parallel, the brand is preparing other notable releases for the domestic market: the Honor 500 and 500 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, as well as the flagship Honor GT 2 and GT 2 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite and 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets.
