Samsung Galaxy S26 series: wireless charging up to 25W and dimensions

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series may finally get a meaningful upgrade to wireless charging. Recent leaks suggest all three models will support higher power: the standard S26 and S26 Plus up to 20 W, and the flagship S26 Ultra up to 25 W. For comparison, previous devices in the line used 15 W; the boost should speed things up by about 40%, making wireless charging feel far more practical in everyday life. If accurate, that jump would make drop-and-go charging feel less like a compromise.

Beyond charging, insiders have outlined display and body dimensions. The S26 is said to feature a 6.3-inch screen and a 149.4 × 71.5 × 6.9 mm body; the S26 Plus a 6.7-inch panel in a 158.4 × 75.8 × 7.3 mm frame; and the S26 Ultra a 6.9-inch display with a 163.6 × 78.1 × 7.8 mm chassis.

While Chinese competitors already offer 50 W and above, Samsung’s update would still mark a noticeable step forward from its own standard—especially for people who rely on wireless power. It may not set records, but it targets the kind of improvement users actually feel.
