HyperOS 3 goes global on Xiaomi Pad 7: features and rollout

Xiaomi has officially launched the global version of HyperOS 3, the newest iteration of its Android 16-based interface. The first stable update is rolling out to the Xiaomi Pad 7, with more models to follow throughout November. A measured start that signals how much weight the company now puts on software polish.

Pad 7 owners have begun receiving build OS3.0.2.0.WOZMIXM, previously released in China. The update brings visible and practical changes: Hyperland, Xiaomi’s answer to Apple’s Dynamic Island; a customizable lock screen styled after iOS 16; improved multitasking and graphics tuning; plus new AI tools for translation and text generation. The feature mix leans toward familiar design cues paired with useful additions rather than flashy experiments.

To check for the update, head to Settings, then About tablet, and tap Check for updates. The rollout is phased, so the notification may not appear immediately.

By the end of the month, the stable HyperOS 3 build is planned for Xiaomi MIX Flip, POCO F7 Pro, POCO F7, POCO X7 Pro, POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition, POCO X7, Redmi Note 14 Pro+, Note 14 Pro 5G, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14. The Xiaomi 15 series, 15T, Pad 7 Pro, and POCO F7 Ultra have already moved to HyperOS 3 earlier this quarter, a cadence that should help trim fragmentation across recent lineups.

By late November, most of Xiaomi’s 2025 flagships are set to run the most stable version of HyperOS.
